Guides Hub

This hub is the map of every Survive the Swarm guide on the wiki. Survive the Swarm is a free Roblox survivor-like from GeekOut Studio (place 138955781346212). It released on 3 October 2025 and was last listed as updated on 20 August 2026. You kite cube insects while weapons auto-attack, pick an upgrade every level, and cash better rewards the longer a run lasts. Servers hold up to 60 players. Start here if you just opened the experience, then branch into movement, maps, and loadouts instead of guessing from a lobby screenshot.

If this is your first session, open Getting Started. That page walks first join, Wave 1, the HUD, the first dash, and the first upgrade panel. When you want the loop explained as a system rather than a checklist, read How to Play. When packs close the circle and health starts sliding, switch to How to Survive. Those three pages are meant to be read in that order on day one.

Movement and input

Survive the Swarm is won with feet, not with a fire button you mash. Studio footage and creator notes both say to keep distance from attacking insects and to circle the pack instead of running through it. The controls page lists what we can actually confirm from official HUD shots: movement, a Shift/Space dash with a cooldown pip, and an E ATTACK! prompt on some views. We do not invent a full key table. Mobile uses a tap layout; treat that as a different skin on the same loop, not a second game.

Progression, maps, and weapons

Every level opens a pick. Weapon icons in the bottom-left loadout also show their own levels, Vampire Survivors-style. The upgrades guide separates in-run choices, the 49-cost powerup shop (Team Invincibility and Stun All Enemies, 30 seconds each), and longer-term hero unlocks such as Mage. Mage trades health for damage — the creator has said using her drops HP faster even though she fights strong.

Arenas are grassy walled courtyards with stone pillars. One named map is Trenchline; a community clip cleared wave 76 there with Machine Gun at level 5. Use maps before you treat every courtyard as identical. Pillars are kite posts, not scenery.

Named weapons you will see in this wiki: the starter sword, boomerangs (yellow and red returning projectiles on official screenshots), Machine Gun from community runs, and a Mage staff that players call strong. Stack them — the HUD is built for several weapons firing at once. Details live on weapons and the weapon tier list. We do not invent extra guns or damage numbers.

What to open after the guides

Redeem anything current on codes. Compare kits on the tier list, best heroes, and builds. Track studio drops on new weapons. Print a pre-run list with the loadout checklist. Official Discord, the GeekOut Studio group, and Twitter @GeekOutStudio sit on wiki links.

GeekOut Studio announced a turret in January 2026; the turret guide is how to place it if the icon is on your bar. Powerups covers the 49-cost Team Invincibility and Stun All Enemies buttons. High waves is Trenchline 76 and difficulty 92. Co-op is the 60-player courtyard. Review is the install decision. Optional Robux can double some end-of-run rewards. None of that replaces circling the pack. Use this hub as a routing table: pick the page that matches the problem you just died to, then jump to a sibling instead of rereading the same intro.
