Survive the Swarm Heroes Hub

Play as heroes from other worlds — starting with the kits we can actually name.

Heroes Hub

Survive the Swarm on Roblox lets you play as heroes from other worlds. That is the official line from GeekOut Studio, and it is the only roster promise this wiki treats as firm. The experience launched free on 3 October 2025. You join a server of up to 60, weapons auto-attack while you kite cube insects, and you pick an upgrade every level. The body you walk in with still changes how long that loop lasts, because health, risk, and starting feel are not identical across kits.

This Heroes Hub is the roster map, not a PvP character select. Public comments name Mage. Official art and screenshots show a starter sword fighter. Wave 22 footage shows a blue-coat caster that may be Mage-like; we do not claim that screenshot is Mage unless a studio label says so. We will not invent a twelve-hero chart with fake names. When GeekOut adds more named kits, they belong here. Until then, unnamed bodies stay unnamed.

Start with best heroes if you want a buy order. Open the Mage page if you are deciding whether the damage-for-HP trade is worth it. Use community builds when you already picked a body and need a loadout template. Pair every kit with the heroes ranking so letter grades and roster notes stay in one story.

What a hero actually changes

A hero is not a second weapon wheel. Weapons still auto-attack. You can still hold several at once; official wave 22 footage shows per-weapon levels on a bottom-left bar. The kit you spawn as changes how hard you hit, how fast HP drops, and how forgiving early waves feel. Community and creator notes on Mage are consistent on one trade: the kit fights strong, and health falls faster than on the sword fighter. That is a sustain problem, not a reason to skip the weapons guide.

Movement is shared. Dash on Shift or Space. Circle the pack. Do not sprint through the blue swarm. About 100 HP at wave 1 is the early budget most runs start from; Mage spends that budget faster. Purple XP crystals still level you. Shop TEAM INVINCIBILITY and STUN ALL ENEMIES still cost 49 currency for 30 seconds. Those HUD buttons do not belong to one hero — they are panic tools for any body when the circle closes on Trenchline or any other map.

Unlock cost still matters. The starter sword fighter is how you learn the loop on day one. Mage is a later buy. Spending run rewards on a named kit before you can kite is how people bounce off Survive the Swarm. Learn the how to survive pattern first, then come back to this hub with currency you can afford to burn.

Named kits versus the expanding roster

Starter sword fighter. Visible in screenshots and the “E ATTACK!” art. Melee. Fine early. Worse as a late carry once ranged options exist. This is the default body, not a secret S-tier specialist.

Mage. The only publicly named kit in the comments we can cite. High damage, high risk. Players have asked whether the staff is better than guns; we have not independently tested that, so the staff stays community-reported on the weapons tier list. The body itself is ranked as a glass-cannon pick on best heroes.

Everyone else. Official copy says heroes from other worlds. That implies a growing list. It does not give us names, roles, or HP numbers. This wiki will not fill the gap with invented champions. Watch new weapons and studio posts when a new kit is actually labeled.

How to use this hub in a real session

Join Roblox, take the starter body, and complete one short run so shop, codes, and the upgrade panel make sense. Redeem anything listed on the codes hub if you want extra currency, then decide whether Mage is a reward you actually want. Before a long Trenchline session, tick the loadout checklist so you are not mixing a high-risk hero with a melee-only bar.

Typical pairing: starter fighter plus boomerangs for group clear, or starter fighter plus Machine Gun if you are copying the community holdout to wave 76. Mage plus extra projectiles and weapon levels, with HP picks earlier than usual, is the risky version of the same idea. Those templates live on builds. They are community sketches, not certified loadouts.

If a patch adds a named hero, the right order is: confirm the name from studio copy, add a page here, then adjust the heroes ranking. Do not reshuffle grades based on a lobby rumor. This hub is a September 2026 snapshot of what we can evidence, and it should stay boring in the best way — honest about Mage, honest about the starter, silent where GeekOut has been silent.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Survive the Swarm on Roblox.

How many heroes are in Survive the Swarm?

Official copy only says you play as heroes from other worlds. Public comments name Mage. This hub will not invent a full roster. See best heroes for the buy order we can defend.

Should I unlock Mage first?

Not on day one. Learn kite and dash with the starter sword fighter, then read the Mage page. The kit hits hard and drops HP faster.

Does the hero I pick replace my weapons?

No. Weapons still auto-attack and you can hold several at once. The body changes risk and feel. Pair kits with the weapons ranking and community builds.

Is the blue-coat caster in wave 22 footage Mage?

Maybe Mage-like; we do not treat an unlabeled screenshot as a studio ID. Details and hedging live on the Mage page.

Do TEAM INVINCIBILITY and stun belong to one hero?

No. Those HUD shop tools cost 49 currency for 30 seconds on any kit. Rank them on the upgrades list, not as a Mage-only button.

Where do I check a loadout before a long run?

Use the loadout checklist, then how to survive if the swarm still closes the circle on Trenchline.
