Survive the Swarm Powerups

Two shop buttons, 49 currency, 30 seconds each — panic windows, not Wave 1 habits.

Powerups Guide

Survive the Swarm’s live HUD shows two named shop powerups on the right: Team Invincibility and Stun All Enemies. Official studio footage labels both as lasting 30 seconds and costing 49 currency. This page is when to tap them, when to ignore them, and how they sit beside dash, crystals, and the multi-weapon bar. It is not a secret third button we invented.

The game is a free Roblox survivor-like from GeekOut Studio. Weapons auto-attack while you kite cube insects. You pick an upgrade every level. Servers hold up to 60. Wave 1 HP in studio clips starts at 100/100. Currency sits in the top-right. If you spend 49 the first time a blue cube touches you, you will have nothing left when the ring actually closes on Wave 12. Learn the oval on How to Survive before this shop feels relevant.

Team Invincibility

The label is team-wide in the footage: Team Invincibility. In a solo session it still buys you a 30-second window where incoming hits stop being the main story. Use it when you or a group are already overlapping insects and the dash pip is empty. Do not use it to stand still and “DPS.” Auto-attacks already fire. The powerup is permission to walk out of a bad pocket without donating the HP bar.

In co-op the word Team matters. If four of you stacked in the same bite zone, one 49 spend can save the clump. If you are on opposite sides of the courtyard, you may be paying to protect a friend who was already safe. Call the buy or you waste the currency that high waves will want later.

Stun All Enemies

Stun All Enemies freezes the pack for the same 30 seconds and the same 49 cost. Buy it when the swarm is about to close a circle and you need a frozen path through the blue cubes. It is a door, not a farm. Stunning a thin Wave 3 line is a waste. Stunning a Wave 20 clump that has you against a Trenchline pillar is the intended use. While they are frozen, vacuum purple crystals and rebuild the oval. Do not stand in the middle congratulating the shop.

Stun does not replace Machine Gun or boomerangs. Those weapons still need you to move after the 30 seconds ends. Pair this page with weapons and upgrades so you do not skip a weapon level to “save money” you then dump on a stun you could have dashed out of.

Currency, dash, and the 49 test

Top-right currency in studio Wave 1 footage showed a few hundred. 49 is a real slice of that. The test is simple: if dash Shift/Space would have gotten you out, do not buy. If a turret already covers the lane, do not buy. If HP is still near 100/100, do not buy. If the pack is a doughnut and you are the hole, buy, dash through the gap the stun creates, and keep walking.

Optional Robux that doubles some end-of-run rewards does not refill the 49 cost mid-wave. Codes do not either, and this wiki lists no independently verified public strings as of September 2026 — see codes. Scripts that claim infinite stun belong on the scripts hub as a ban risk, not a powerup guide.

How this sits on the HUD

WAVE and the countdown keep ticking during both powerups. LVL and the XP bar still want crystals. The bottom-left loadout still shows per-weapon levels. None of those widgets pause because you opened the shop. Getting Started teaches you to read them on Wave 1. Controls covers the dash pip. Maps explains why a courtyard pillar makes stun more valuable than the same spend in an open field.

Print a pre-run reminder on the loadout checklist. Compare hero HP risk on Mage before you treat invincibility as a substitute for a tank body. Mage already drops HP faster; she is the last kit that should waste 49 on a Wave 4 stun.

When the 30 seconds ends, you are back to circling the pack. That is the whole powerup loop. Buy late, walk out, spend the rest of the run on upgrades and weapon levels — not on the shop.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Survive the Swarm on Roblox.

How much do Survive the Swarm powerups cost?

Studio HUD footage shows Team Invincibility and Stun All Enemies at 49 currency for 30 seconds each. Confirm the live shop before you budget a run.

When should I buy Team Invincibility?

When you are already overlapping insects and dash is down. It is a panic window, not a Wave 1 purchase. See How to Survive.

When should I buy Stun All Enemies?

When the pack is closing and you need a frozen path out. Do not stun a thin early wave. High waves is where this spend pays.

Do powerups replace the turret or Machine Gun?

No. Powerups are timed shop buttons. Turret placement is on turret. Guns stay on weapons.

Does co-op change the Team Invincibility buy?

Yes. One 49 spend can cover stacked teammates. Split courtyards may waste it. Read co-op.
