Loadout Builds

These Survive the Swarm builds are community templates, not GeekOut Studio loadouts and not a DPS simulator. The game is a free Roblox survivor-like (launched 3 October 2025): weapons auto-attack, you pick an upgrade every level, and you can hold several weapons at once with per-weapon levels on a bottom-left bar (official footage at wave 22). A “build” here means a plan for that bar, plus how you spend HP picks and shop panic, plus which body you walk in with. Treat every row as a September 2026 sketch that will move after patches.

We only name tools we can evidence: boomerangs, Machine Gun, starter sword, Mage staff. We do not invent fireball or artillery. If a run offers something new, slot it as untested and check new weapons. Pair these templates with the weapons ranking, the upgrades ranking, and the loadout checklist before you queue a long Trenchline session.

Template A — boomerang clear

Goal: delete the blue cube swarm before the ring stacks. Core tool: boomerangs, because official screenshots show returning yellow and red projectiles that cut groups twice. Levels: feed boomerangs first. Extra projectiles are the matching upgrade type — more lines through the same pack. HP: take it when bites land, not as the first ten picks. Shop: save STUN ALL ENEMIES (30 seconds, 49 currency) for the moment the circle is already wrong; do not stun on wave 6 because you feel nervous.

Body: starter sword fighter while you learn. Mage if you already kite and want the damage-for-HP trade — read Mage first. Sword: keep it on the bar if the run gave it; stop investing as a carry once boomerangs exist. Map: any open kite, including Trenchline; the maps guide matters more than a secret rotation.

This template fails when you stand still and expect the return path to cover a pile you walked into. Dash on Shift or Space is still the build. How to survive is the movement half of “boomerang clear.”

Template B — Machine Gun holdout

Goal: last into deep waves. Core tool: Machine Gun. Evidence: community runner Step Phương used Machine Gun level 5 to wave 76 on Trenchline. That is a holdout signal, not a promise you will hit 76. Levels: Machine Gun gets the XP. Extra projectiles still help; extra sword levels do not. HP: more important than in Template A because you are choosing to stay in the run longer. Shop: TEAM INVINCIBILITY is the save when red bugs close and you still have a gun worth protecting. Same 30 seconds, same 49 currency. Do not autopilot it every wave.

Body: starter fighter is enough; the clip is a gun clip. Mage can attempt the same holdout with less HP room. Staff: community-reported, not the holdout evidence. If the panel offers Machine Gun level versus staff level and you are copying wave 76, take the gun.

This template fails when you treat Machine Gun as a turret you stand behind. It auto-attacks while you kite. If the swarm eats you at 100 HP on wave 1, the build is not the problem — movement is.

Template C — mixed kite

Goal: one tool for packs, one tool for the long fight. Core: boomerangs plus Machine Gun on the same multi-weapon bar. That combination is allowed by the HUD we can see at wave 22; it is not a studio “meta pair” announcement. Levels: split with a bias toward whichever is saving you this map. Packs dense, feed boomerangs. Run going long, feed Machine Gun. HP: mid. Shop: one stun or one Team Invincibility per crisis, not both on cooldown forever. Body: starter or Mage; Mage needs HP earlier.

Mixed kite is the template that most matches how Survive the Swarm actually looks: several weapons firing while you circle. It is also the template that punishes greed — two hungry bars and a staff you have not tested. Use the Heroes Hub if you have not picked a body yet, and best heroes if you are about to spend unlock currency.

Shared rules for every template

Purple XP crystals on the grass are delayed levels. Servers go to 60; other players do not aim for you. Cube insects come in a blue swarm plus larger red bugs; builds that only work on isolated targets are fantasy. Codes on the codes hub can add shop currency; they cannot add a third evidenced gun. The weapons guide explains feel; this page only assigns roles.

Refuse fake rarity grids. If a lobby posts a seven-weapon “god loadout” with names we cannot evidence, it is not a template here. Add new rows after footage or a public run exists.

Before you start: tick the loadout checklist, know the Trenchline kite on maps, and remember that a September 2026 community sketch is a starting bar, not a patch bible. Then go play Survive the Swarm and let the bottom-left levels tell you which template you actually got.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Survive the Swarm on Roblox.

Are these official Survive the Swarm builds?

No. They are community templates from footage and public runs. GeekOut has not published a loadout bible. Confirm guns on the weapons ranking.

Which template copies the wave 76 Trenchline run?

Template B: Machine Gun holdout. Step Phương used Machine Gun level 5. Routing still matters — maps and how to survive.

Can I run boomerangs and Machine Gun together?

Yes. Wave 22 footage shows several weapons at once with per-weapon levels. That is Template C, mixed kite. Check the loadout checklist before a long session.

Where does Mage staff fit?

Situational. It is community-reported, not the holdout evidence. Read Mage and do not assume staff beats Machine Gun.

Should every build buy TEAM INVINCIBILITY?

No. TEAM INVINCIBILITY costs 49 currency for 30 seconds. Rank shop panic on the upgrades list and save it for a closed circle.

What if the run offers a weapon not listed here?

Treat it as untested. The roster expands with updates and in-run level-ups. See new weapons rather than a fake catalogue.
